Dr.
Ricardo Leoni, II, M.D.
Dr. Leoni has practiced ophthalmology in Lafayette since 1999. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Louisiana State University obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine internship and his ophthalmology residency at the Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans.
Prior to beginning his own practice in November 2004, Dr. Leoni practiced general ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery at the Azar Eye Clinic in Lafayette, Louisiana.
He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Lafayette Parish Medical Society.

Patsy
Chaisson – Front Office Manager
Patsy has 34 yrs experience running Ophthalmology offices. She handles
all of the scheduling, both clinical and surgical. She also handles
the insurance claims and office calls. Patsy is married to Tim Chaisson.
Tim
Chaisson – Ophthalmic and Laser Technician
Tim has over 34 yrs experience as an ophthalmic technician. He orders
and fits all of our contact lens. He runs special testing like the
visual field machine. His latest endeavor was to operate and manage
my Visx Excimer Laser for laser vision correction. Both Timand his
wife, Patsy, speak French, which helps
with our older non-English
speaking patients.
Gwen
Porter – Front Office Assistant and Microkeratome Technician
Gwen has 12yrs experience working with patient scheduling, insurance
filing and patient relations. In 2006, she became certified to run
the Bausch & Lomb XP microkeratome used to make the Lasik flap
during laser vision correction.
